Moving doesn’t have to be overwhelming. Girl Friday Organizing makes your move seamless by helping you declutter, pack, unpack, and organize every step of the way. Whether you’re moving out or settling into a new home in McKinney, Prosper, Celina, or Frisco, we’ll ensure you feel comfortable and organized from the very start.

Plano Packing Help

Packing Services

  • Pick up moving supplies: boxes, tape, packing paper, bubble wrap, labels, permanent markers, specialty boxes (wardrobe, dish packs), and furniture pads.

  • Declutter before you pack: donate, sell, recycle, or trash what you don’t want to move.

  • Packing & Labeling

  • Carefully pack your items by room and category.

  • Label each box clearly with contents + destination room. Use color-coded tape or stickers for faster unloading.

  • Pack an “open-first” box with daily essentials (toiletries, medications, chargers, a few outfits, snacks, coffee).

  • Take photos of electronics or furniture assembly before disassembling.

Unpack & Organize

  • Complete Unpacking – Carefully unbox and place items in your kitchen, closets, bathrooms, and living spaces.

  • Organization as We Go – Set up drawers, cabinets, and closets in an organized, functional way from day one.

  • Remove Packing Materials – Break down boxes, bag packing paper, and stage for recycling or disposal. 

  • Space Planning – Suggest layouts or storage solutions to make the most of your new home’s footprint.

  • Product Recommendations & Shopping – Source bins, dividers, or labels to finish the setup if needed.

  • Coordination with Other Vendors – Work with cleaners, movers, or furniture delivery teams to streamline move-in.

  • “Move-In Ready” Finish – Leave your home tidy, stocked with essentials, and ready to live in without the overwhelm.

The Process

Step 1

Book a short call so we can discuss your move, your goals, and make sure we’re a great fit for each other.

Step 2

An in person session will be scheduled to properly gather information and determine the number of organizers needed. Services are billed at an hourly rate per organizer.

Step 3

After the in person session, a summary of the recommended services will be sent for your review, including the estimated number of organizers needed and the hourly rate per organizer. Once you approve the service plan, please sign and return it. A 50% deposit is required within 24 hours of approval to reserve your service date.

Step 4

On your scheduled date — or dates, if your project requires multiple sessions — we’ll arrive to carry out the packing and/or unpacking exactly as outlined in your proposal. 

Please note that we do not pack fine art, oversized paintings, or large electronics such as televisions.
However, we are happy to help source or coordinate with a qualified professional who can assist with these items.
